CLIMATE CHANGE AND OUR PEOPLE
SALTA, Monday, 8th. November 2021, The President of Fundación Fausto (FUNDAFA), César Kike Teruel, informed the Governor Dr. Gustavo A. Sáenz, “that following months of negotiations it can now proceed ahead with a series of projects aimed at creating new and sustainable jobs and living conditions for the most vulnerable people in the Province of Salta.
The President of FUNDAFA César Kike Teruel, added: “that the Fundacion’s efforts have only been made possible through the collaboration and meticulous screening of highly qualified Companies in Salta with the capacity and technological background to carry out environmental compliant projects able to meet the rigid scrutiny of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and other related United Nations agencies to attract the support of a major consortium of International Financial Institutions (IFIs), made-up of multinational Class-A, banks, insurance companies and pension funds in Canada, Great Britain, and the European Union, who support and underwrite the risks associated with major infrastructure development and capacity building projects pre-approved for the issue of certified emission reductions (CERs) credits, under the proprietary DeSC RippleModel™ Program registered with the UNFCCC-CDM”.
The key elements of these projects and their expected outcomes for Salta and its People, could not come at a most top-of-mind item of discussion worldwide, Climate Change, and the power of human capital available in Salta to bring about lasting and sustainable Climatic and Environmental outcomes for most communities in the Province none of which would be possible without the leadership of the Government of Salta and the Fundación Fausto determination to bring about significant change to the Environment and a climate where everyone is safe is beginning with education, clean waste management disposal to electricity, clean and safe drinking water, development of green industries, agricultural development, affordable housing and health care for all, including a food-bank for the needy, children, single mothers and old age people.
Fundación Fausto working in close cooperation with the Federacion de Cooperativas de Trabajo and Salta’s stakeholders and international ISO 1401: 2015 in North America, Great Briton, and the European Union in conjunction with De Sousa Costa International Inc. (DeSC), will oversee, manage and implement the strict requirements acceptable to both the Government of Salta under the DeSC proprietary RippleModel™ Program and the DeSC Consortium of IFIs to ensure success and bring about a significant reduction in the level of poverty in the Province of Salta, Argentina.
